The main challenge was creating a clear and friendly product for users with diverse cultural and language backgrounds. The platform needed to combine many different services, including events, housing rental, car rental, food banks, legal assistance, and more. Avoiding information overload was a key concern. Building a strong and trustworthy brand was also essential. The design had to feel modern while remaining simple and accessible. Special attention was given to mobile usability.
A clear platform structure was created with services divided into intuitive categories. Navigation was designed to help users quickly find the information they need. The interface was built around real immigrant use cases. Complex information was presented in a simple and accessible way. The solution focused on intuitive interactions and minimizing the number of steps required. All decisions followed modern UI/UX principles.
I designed multiple logo concepts with thoughtful symbolism reflecting the ideas of city, community, and support. The client selected the option that best matched the app’s concept. The mobile application design follows a modern style with a focus on clean UI and ease of use. The UI/UX solutions align with current trends and create a positive user experience. A website design was also created to visually and functionally complement the mobile product. The entire visual system was built as a cohesive solution.
The mobile application was developed using Rork for both iOS and Android platforms. The website was built on WordPress, enabling easy content management and scalability. The chosen technologies allowed for a fast launch and future product growth.
