Privacy Policy
Who I am
This site is owned by Alex Filiuk — UI/UX/IxD designer with 15+ years of experience, founder of filyuk.top. Site address: filyuk.top.
I take privacy seriously — not just because GDPR requires it, but because I personally don't like when my own data is shuffled between unknown services. So this policy is written in plain language, without legal padding.
What data I collect — and why
Through the contact form
When you fill out a form, I see: your name, phone, email, message text.
Why I need it: to get back to you. That's it. I don't pass this data to marketers, don't send "weekly news", don't try to upsell you. If you don't want to talk to me anymore — let me know and I'll delete the record.
Through cookies and analytics
The site runs Google Analytics 4 — it shows me how many people visit, from which cities, how long they read an article, which page they clicked. All anonymized: I don't see who you are personally, just aggregate stats.
There's also Google Tag Manager — a technical tool that lets me manage trackers without redeploying the site.
And Facebook Pixel + TikTok Pixel — for ad retargeting. If you've never seen my ad — I'm just not running a campaign right now.
Who I DON'T share your data with
- I don't sell to mailing lists
- I don't pass to partners / dealers / aggregators
- I don't publish anywhere
- I don't use for AI model training
Technically, your data is seen by the services I run on: Brevo (for transactional emails), Directus (my CMS), Cloudflare (hosting). These are tools, not partners — they don't use your data for themselves.
How long I keep data
Inquiry data — up to 2 years from our last contact. If we haven't exchanged a word for 2 years, I delete the record.
GA4 analytics — standard 14 months (Google's default).
Your rights
At any time you can:
- Request a copy of all data I have about you
- Ask me to delete it
- Correct incorrect information
- Opt out of further communication
How to do it: write to me at oleksandr.filiuk@gmail.com. I'll reply within 3 business days and do what you asked.
Policy changes
If I ever add new tools (say, move from Brevo to Mailchimp), I'll update this page and put a new date at the bottom. If the changes are significant — I'll notify all clients I'm still actively communicating with.
